Since its inception, SUNPAC was a "non-profit making organisation
dedicated to the development of the packet radio network in Hampshire, Dorset, the Isle of Wight and South Wiltshire, UK".

SUNPAC

A decision has been taken to wind up the organisation and to no longer manage a packet network.

One node site remains operational - GB7SW near Salisbury.

Currently only the 144.8875MHz (WLTS2) and 70.4875MHz (#WLTS4) ports are in use.

For as long as the site owner permits the use of the tower, it is intended to keep these ports running.

SUNPAC funds from past membership and sale of equipment will pay for site fees and maintenance of GB7SW.

GB7SW supports links with GB7RS on 70.4875 and the nodes G0CGL-1 and G0WKL-3 on 144.8875

The above named nodes also support the GB7CGL and GB7WKL DX Clusters.

The G0CGL-1 node allows access to the G1GXB-3 node at Southampton and associated GB7SOU BBS.

Node 2E1GOR near Lymington is also available on 144.8875

The G0CGL-1 node at Wool has international links which also appear in the GB7SW-2 node table.

APRS is supported at G0CGL-1 on 144.800MHz including an IGATE and weather station.

Richard G0WKL and Eric G0CGL would like to thank all past members for their support.
